Music - vocals and instruments tracking/Recording

In addition to dozens of popular Neumann, Earthworks, AKG, SONY, Lewitt and other mics, Dave Smith, Yamaha and other keyboards, and Martin, PRS, Fender, Rick Turner and other guitars, we have vocal recording rooms, tube and solid state Neve, SSL, API and Focusrite Preamps together with several different styles of acoustically optimized recording rooms.

We support both traditional (loud/live) recording, and “silent” (in-ears) recording using Merging Pyramix+HORUS, DANTE AV and UAD-driven SSL, Neve and effects and also analog Neve, SSL, API, WesAudio and other gear with no latency.

Seeflection Studios has the only full DSD/DXD “analog digital” immersive surround recording facilities the United States; capable of up to DSD1024, enabling significantly higher quality recording of masters compared to any other digital or analog studio approach.
Some consider DSD to be the future of all recording. Sometimes referred to as “analog digital” because its digital sampling rate is so high that it looks like analog, and is missing the audible aliasing noise and other diatracting artifacts of standard recording methods.

Music - Live and in-studio band recording

On-site and in-studio recording using Earthworks, Schoeps, AKG, Aston, Sennheiser and dozens of other microphone options, together with 24 bit and 32 bit audio recording via SSL, Sound Devices and related realtime UAD preamps.

In addition to standard digital PCM recording/tracking, mixing and mastering, we also have direct to 2” analog 24 track and the ONLY full DSD/DXD 64, 128 through 1024 at 45.2 MHz sampling rate recording, mixing and mastering in all of Arizona. It is widely recognized as far superior to any traditional PCM or analog used in virtually all other studios.

We support stereo, 2.1 to 11.2.6 Dolby ATMOS, DolbyVision, HDR 2 and related formats of recording, as well as 7th order 3D ambisonics for 64 channel 3D gaming, live performance reproduction, interactive productions and immersive broadcasting.

Studio - Mixing and Mastering

Professional recording sessions in the perfect environment, with no detectable noise floor, bleed or hum. The first time you hear a Class A guitar amp at high gain without any background noise or hum is amazing, as it the dramatic increase in dynamics and lack of distortion on your recordings.

Unlike most other studios in the US, we offer not only digital, but also 24 track analog, and of even more interest to so,r, true DSD 256+ recording, mixing, mastering and distribution. Of the few studios that offer DSD, most simply convert traditional digital to DSD. We maintain full spectrum DSD, at significantly higher quality than 44.1kHz-96kHz PCM digital. In blind study after study, virtually every listener finds DSD to be far superior to any traditional digital or analog format.

Studies are now showing that the brain, body and our emotional response to sound and music is tremendously affected by sound well above the previously espoused upper limit of 20,000 Hz, just as we feel and are affected by sound below the supposed lower limit of 20 Hz.
